How do I add a vehicle?

Tap the + button on the Home screen and select Vehicle. Enter your registration number and we'll look up your vehicle details automatically using the DVSA database.

How do recalls work?

RecallGuard checks official sources including the DVSA vehicle recall database and major UK retailer product safety notices. When a recall is found matching your vehicle or product, you'll receive an alert in the app.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → RecallGuard → Cancel Subscription.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

Go to More → Plan & Billing → Restore previous purchase.

A recall isn't showing for my vehicle — why?

RecallGuard uses the official DVSA recall database. If a recall has been recently issued it may take a short time to appear. You can also check directly at gov.uk/check-vehicle-recall.

How do I mark a recall as resolved?

Open the Alerts screen, tap the recall, and select Mark Resolved. This will remove the warning indicator from your vehicle or product.
