RecallGuard ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Marcus Reynolds, trading as RecallGuard UK. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use the RecallGuard app.
RecallGuard stores the following data locally on your device only:
We do not operate our own servers to store your personal data. Your vehicles and products never leave your device except as described below.
When you add a vehicle, your vehicle registration number is sent to the UK Government DVSA API to retrieve recall information. This is a government service — please refer to the DVSA's own privacy notice for details of how they handle this data.
When you subscribe to RecallGuard Pro, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous device identifier to track entitlements — no payment card details or personal information are shared with us or RevenueCat.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
All personal data (your vehicles, products, and alerts) is stored only on your device. You can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the app.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. As your data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control of it at all times. For any questions, contact us at the address below.
RecallGuard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
